Fresh from a performance at the 2006 East Coast Blues & Roots Festival local band, The Love Bus, are now set to play at Splendour in the Grass in July 2006. Fast gaining momentum as an emerging band, it’s easy to understand why songsmith Felicity Burdett and her band are so happy. In the short span of six months they have released their debut CD (through MGM), won ‘Album of the Year’ in the NCEIA Dolphin Awards, and played some really cool gigs including the forthcoming appearance at Splendour.

RECORD $16m HOME SALE
A LITTLE known Sydney developer has paid nearly $16million for a beach house at Byron Bay, easily doubling the record price for the region. Danny Goldberg shocked real estate watchers with his bold purchase of the luxury Wategos House at the iconic beach. Speculation during the week suggested that billionaire tycoon James Packer had purchased the property, which last sold for $2.09 million in 2000. However, it was revealed yesterday that the buyer was the media shy Mr Goldberg, who shouldn’t be confused with the hubby of bikini model Annalise Braakensiek who shares the same name.
