Bluesfest Busking Comp Finals this Wednesday!
As the commencement of Bluesfest draws near, the Bluesfest Busking Comp Finals are takingtaking shape to be one of the biggest events to hit the Beach Hotel, Wednesday 4th April will become the unofficial start of the 2012 annual Byron Bay Bluesfest. Kicking off at 4pm we will see the three finalists for the Grommets take to the stage with guest judge Minnie Marks (the little pocket rocket that took out last year’s Busking Comp) joining the panel of judges to take on the difficult task of selecting the cream of the crop.
When dusk starts to settle be sure to see the Beach Hotel take on a whole new shape as the open finals kick into full gear commencing at 6pm with previous Busking Comp winner the awe inspiring Kim Churchill present as guest judge for this event. The level of talent that is filtering through this sought after annual event is certainly evident in this year’s Bluesfest lineup with Kim Churchill, Marshall and the Fro and Minnie Marks all previous Bluesfest Busking Comp finalists taking to the stage.
With all these extremely talented musicians under one roof on the eve of Bluesfest be sure to expect a spectacular surprise to the evening to send the Eve of the Bluesfest out with a BANG. Head on down by 4pm as we guarantee you will become enthralled by the spectacular talent of the young fellas as they perform, closely followed by the open crew taking to the stage.
