Aria Viva Perform On Mothers Day at the Byron Community Centre

ARIA VIVA – SONGS MY MOTHER TAUGHT ME – MOTHER’S DAY AT THE BYRON COMMUNITY CENTRE

Following  a sell out performance at The Harvest Old Bakery in March, much loved classical duo Aria Viva present their new show Songs My Mother Taught Me. Described as magical and inspiring, the duo promises a memorable afternoon of sumptuous music featuring an eclectic mix of operatic arias, well known songs and harp and piano solos from the world’s favourite composers – the perfect way to spend a sublime Mothers’ Day Sunday afternoon.

Soprano Lecia Robertson has performed over 20 operatic roles in Australia, Europe and the UK. She is currently a principal soloist with Opera Queensland, State Opera South Australia and Victorian Opera.

Margaret Curtis holds a Performance Fellowship from the Trinity College of Music in London, she is currently resident harpist with the Lismore Symphony Orchestra, has performed recently with the Beecroft and TOPS orchestras and is in demand with local orchestras as a concert pianist.

Together, Margaret and Lecia delight audiences with their love of music, thoroughly entertaining performances and complete musical integrity.
