Europeans rate Byron Bay their No.1 holiday destination in the world
Yet again, Byron Bay has topped a poll as one of Australia’s most popular holiday spots for overseas travellers.
The survey, conducted by website Trip Advisor, put Byron as the No.1 destination in the world among European travellers.
It came in No.3 for both the best beach and sun destination and the top destination in the South Pacific.
‘Scoring so highly in the awards is a fantastic achievement for Byron Bay and should be seen as wins for the whole Northern Rivers.” Russell Mills, head of Northern Rivers Tourism, said.
